Keep Voting on Sessions

We have one open spot still on the Session Board, so please keep making suggestions or voting on others in the community. We will have the sessions finalized in the morning, so vote and suggest away! We can change plans right up until 9:00 tomorrow. Also a reminder that we will not have food available, but will have plenty of coffee from Rudy's.

We will connect with Denver this Saturday. Also, It's Time for Introductions. And Here's our Session Board!

Five EdCamps will be taking place around the country this Saturday and we will be connecting with EdCamp Denver through Google Hangouts. One of their sessions will be streaming in the Lecture Hall and one of our sessions will be streaming in Denver. Both locations will also be able to interact and contribute to each other's learning. We will also be sharing links to those Hangouts publicly, so anyone who can't make it can check it out from home.

The votes have been compiled and here is our session board based on the recommendations in the Google+ community and some that were emailed to me: http://goo.gl/XmpnoX

There will also be informal connections in the cafeteria through a separate Hangout where attendees from both states can connect and learn how to use Hangouts together.

Our final announcement today is to take a few minutes to introduce yourself in the form linked here: http://goo.gl/J5dNmM

We will have one final announcement tomorrow and spread the word, there are plenty of spots left. The day will last from 8:30-12:15ish. Sorry, no breakfast. But we will have coffee.

Round Rock ISD EdCamp just two days away. Here's your session board!

Two days to go before the first Round Rock ISD EdCamp. We've done it a bit different than other EdCamps and have been taking session suggestions over the last month. Here are the fruits of our labor. The session board below reflects the work you have done over the last month making session suggestions in the Round Rock ISD PD Google+ Community. There is still time to make other suggestions if there is a theme or topic you would like to see. Throw it up into the community and if it gets several +1's before Saturday, we'll add it to the board.

The schedule of the day will be from 8:30-12:10. Sorry we don't have many door prizes or giveaways, but we do have a few items to share. We will be providing coffee for everyone, but food will not be provided.

The doors will open at 8:00 a.m. We will have a brief welcome in the cafeteria at 8:30ish and the first session will kick-off at 9:00. See you there and more announcements are to come tomorrow.
